I had a little bit of spare time today and decided to create this for the #DevonHour community. It was a good chance to play with some of the textures in Inkscape and create something colourful and fun.

    1. To start with, I downloaded Inkscape just because it’s free and I was curious about vector art. Since then I’ve used it quite a lot and love the neat and clean lines you get with vector illustration (and the fact that it’s basically art maths). 🙂

      1. lol – I’ve never thought of it as art maths, but you’re right, vector is very precise and mathematical. When I first began using Corel I tried to do things freehand. Once I learnt the app though I came to appreciate the precise measurements you can use, and of course the clean lines you can produce with just a few nodes. 🙂
